2.81 in. rain : 19 hour accumulated total from the recent storms.

*Saturday 050209 Update*

1.69in / 42.9mm rain fell in 1 hour! We had tornado warning, still have a tornado watch and obviously a flash flood watch. The ground dried somewhat from the Thurday storms and is now standing water- like the edge of a pond. The time returns..

INcreasing daytime and overnight low temps forecasted for the next 4 days. Right now the airport shows 86°F | 30°C and local PWS 91.6°F | 33.1 °C The PSW heat index(how the temperature feels on your body in the shade) is 89.4°F | 31.9°C. With some stronger winds at the airport it would feel cooler than the simplistic Heat Index Calculator that uses only Temp and Relative Humidity values.

0.82 inches of rain today in 3 hr. 40 min.

Update 1:
Another 0.46 inches fell in 24 hours since last measurement making the Current Total Rainfall 1.28 inches>> Not so severe yet. The Flash Flood Watch in place now expires "early" in the morning 4/19/09, so the accumulated rainfall will be blogged over the next 36 hrs during breaks in the raining(like now). Φ

Still very windy! From Sunday Morning until now (Monday evening) the average wind has been 24 mph with gusts reaching 33 mph. Airport Data - Weather.gov

And so we will be frrrreeezing tomorrow morning!
