I am relatively new to this site, I believe I checked it a few times last hurricane season, but just became a member this year. I really enjoy reading everybody's diff opinions and ideas on storm tracks, and hope to learn alot on here, so that I might have an "informed" opinion in the future, LOL. I live in Summerville, South Carolina, which is the Charleston area. I am a hurricane Hugo survivor. I live in dread of a hurricane hitting my area again, and being a homeowner with today's insurance, I lose alot of sleep whenever there is anything brewing in the tropics. I am a bit obsessed with being prepared if a storm heads my way, so I am very thankful to have found such an informative spot on the internet. Thanks to all of you that contribute your knowledge to Dr. M's blog.
