Looks like I will come in just under 9 inches, unless some comes in today.
The models are trending more westward with 91L. I'll be on the dirty side so I'm not expecting much but you could get a bunch down there Dan.
I guess time will tell.

Getting up to some decent June numbers here too O! Not getting too excited as June by me "should be" the best rainfall month says climo but very near 10.00!

Someone didn't check their forecast.
Man I love this time of year but also hate it too. Soo many big storms around but none are coming my way. Keep getting those pesky .10-.20 rainfalls.
Damitt I need some TOADS IMBY!
On the tropical front something may be brewing in the Gulf for later in the week.
So what weather forum you hanging out at Dan?

Only .10 in the bucket yesterday but some big rain producers were around. Saw 2 totals over 3 inches. Great to see the dark clouds and hear the crack of thunder on a regular basis again.

50% chance tomorrow may kick off the rainy season up here as the DP's have been around 70 for a couple days. Jville says some storms may get severe tomorrow. Rest of the week there is a chance of rain everyday so it looks like IT'S HERE!!!
Also major humidity set in today. Like regular summer time humidity. Heat Index was almost 102 today with a high of 96.

1.48 from this increasingly rare event on 5/15! Wow, after an out of this solar system January it was good to finally see a decent harvest in the gauge.

Wet season on the Treasure Coast is not far from onset. Even with this extremely late and for its time very vigorous cool front passage.

I will be loving this spectacular wx this weekend but have one eye on the candy about to come.

.41 total from this system. Not as much as suspected but 62 very dry degrees this morning. Supposed to be in the 50's tonight and tomorrow night. DP's yesterday above 70 are now in the mid 50's so much nicer.

Nothing much to report in Port Saint Lucie. Nice t-storms juuust to the W and NW of MBY the past two days. Thursday and Friday look much more promising with this late dry season languishing front.

More storms today. Yeehaw!!
Although these were a little more potent then yesterday. More wind and lightning but not as much rain.
Thursday and Friday are supposed to be very active as well. Gotta love this early season primer to the wet season.
.42 in the bucket puts me at 2.93 for the month and a whopping 17.77 for the first 4 months of the year.

Some decent seabreeze action today but none here. It was nice driving home from work and seeing those tall cloud tops. It's getting closer.
Thoughts and prayers going out to the tornado victims up north.

1.73 for April is good anytime.
As for garden pics I would say no. I mean if your tomato plants are in tatters after a hail storm then yes. If it's just pics of the garden plants then no.

1.73" for a grand four day total here at JaxBeach.

Slow start to the rains here but mother nature is trying to finish strong. Had .32" as of 4:30 pm. Had approx 1.25" around 9pm when I checked the analog gauge by flashlight. Bursts of rain since. I'm thinking 1.5" is a good bet. Short of the minimum of 2" I was expecting but I'll take it. Above the April avg of 2.57" now.

Quoting 30. aquak9:

hey Ocala- do you want pics here? I mean, I can go Ap3$4it with pics if you'd like.

Gonna be some rains for Duval, More for Nassau, and some >3" in spotty area like Putnam, Marion, and Baker.
St. Mary's river gonna go moderate, Black Creek might not crest till the wee hours of Tues morn.

Treasurecoast- hang in there. You're a little south for this event. Wait till July.

Just got finished with a solid .62 from the very southern reach of this system. Cell threatened to skirt MBY but what was just a awesome light show with no rain turned into a 1.5 hour moderate event that netted .62 and still raining lightly.

aquak9 I was not too south in the end although I did not get a two day deluge like those to the north. Also, I don't have to wait for July. My true wet season kicks off no later than mid May at best and early June at worst ;)

Keep this FL disco going!

aquak9 no problem with the pics. Just please keep them weather related.
Well that was kind of lame today. Was really expecting some heavy rain. A line moved through this afternoon with little fanfare and that looks like that's it.
Dam, I was really hoping for some good action this afternoon. :(

Just .76 on the month after a disappointing .21 yesterday (4/17)
Wow the panhandle is getting pummeled!

Hoping for some heavier precip tonight as this system pumps a moist unstable flow over my area on it's way out.

Man 14 hour work days suck.
Anyways nice squall line roared through yesterday. Jville had said their wouldn't be much instability because of the clouds preceding the front. Turns out we had full sun all morning which destabilized the atmosphere and boom, nice squall line. It went front from just sprinkling to almost white out conditions in about 20 seconds. Quite impressive. Notched 1.10 in the bucket.
Next event starts Friday with Jville predicting 2-4 inches area wide. Of course things can change but the southern end of the CWA might see some severe storms. Yeehaw!

Yesterday's Jville AFD mentioned this front possibly stalling over northern Florida. That got my attention. Now FROPA will be quick with a decent shot at rain.
Oh well, at least more rain is on the way.

Front went through the treasure coast without any fanfare. Some much needed light to at times moderate rains and thankful for THAT. Will report in the am on CoCORaHS a solid .49. Maybe a lucky sprinkle gets me to a half overnight.

Much cooler air filtering in!

Dave you are pretty much spot on. True wet season can kick off for me in mid May but of course no certainty. Yeah this wx has been boring but it is so gorgeous that there are no complaints here. Not to mention that I have green grass on April 1 for the first time since moving to FL in 2009. The out of control January and just above normal February is no doubt still cashing in for me.

Need to start posting a few maps in here :)

Also, where is the rest of Florida? !
