WINTERGREEN VIRGINIA WEATHER INCLUDING NELSON COUNTY |

 2009 www.nelsoncountylife.com : After a soggy start to the season in June, the weather cooperated perfectly at the past weekend's Starry Nights. Afton Nelson County, Virginia Parents and kids danced into the night at this past weekend's Starry Nights at Veritas Vineyard and Winery. The Abbey Road Band played hits of The Beetles. Last month rains and thunderstorms dampened the first Starry Nights of the season, but not this one! Approximately 1500 to 2000 people packed the lawn outside Veritas to enjoy the annual event that runs into late summer.  This Starry Night's fan enjoys a delicious white wine on a hot and humid Saturday evening @ Veritas.  The lawn was packed this past weekend with 1500-2000 people at the second Starry Nights of the season. Next month Robert Jospe, High-Energy Jazz will perform at Starry Nights on Saturday, August 8th, 2009, 7-11 p.m The last Starry Nights for 2009 is held on September 12th.
