Entering a long weekend to honor our service who we've lost and who are still in harm's way.I could never be more proud of our servicemen,they sacrifice everything,lives,family,health,but for me our government doesn't do enough for them and their family. I have read too many stories where service men and their families are left to struggle.Our armed forces hospitals are way under funded.Service men have to fight too much to get treatment after returning,families of those killed struggle to make ends meet.As former Air Force member during the Vietnam war,I never served in Vietnam,but I was stationed in Japan where there was a hospital that the wounded were brought.I volunteered to work at the hospital.It was a sobering experience to see those soldiers torn apart.Something I will never forget,and something I still reach out to my congressman.To do more for our serviceman,as far as Im concerned of all the waste my tax dollars go to ,not enough of my tax dollars go to helping our serviceman and families.I write often to my representatives.Some reply,some don't.

Looks like we're in for an unsettled period right into next week.Should be periods of very nice weather,if not on the warm side,but each afternoon a risk of showers and storms. Today is a good example as storms are firing up central and western areas.Probably won't make it east as the marine air keeps our air more stable.I've actually seen a couple of glimpses of sun. Very busy today,but I made it here.Woohoo!!!Gotta run!!!
