December 7th
clouds have moved in quickly, won't see much sun for next 3 or 4 days, rain should move in this evening through most of tomorrow, then get a little break Saturday night and Sunday, before more rain moves in for Sunday night and Monday.
December 6th
Woke up to 27 degrees this morning, yesterday I woke up to 54 degrees, what difference a day makes.
Anyway, cool day today, struggle to reach 40,but then the trend is upward.Looks to be a very unsettled pattern into early next week, with periods of rain, starting late tomorrow. Not raining all the time, but periods.Should be a wet and windy game for the Patriots/Houston on Monday night.
December 5th.
Remarkable night temp wise,it was 58 degerees when I went to bed last night and was still 54 degrees when I got up.This kind of reminds me of our warm December last year.
But cold front has moved through, just a couple of very light showers.and winds have picked up from the wnw,and dropping temps especially this afternoon.Cold night tonight, and chilly day tomorrow, but a shortlived cool down as more warm weather moves in for the weekend, but unsettled weather right into next week.
December 4th
Dense fog out there this morning, travelers be careful.Should burn off by late morning.Another warm day but little sun, cold front during the night and turning much colder, then another warmup starting friday.Weekend does not look good, with periods of rain and mild temps.
December 3rd
Our first full week of December and we have above normal temps. It shot up to 50 in the evening last night after being in the 30's most of the day.Continued warmth through Tuesday, before we drop back to normal.
Exciting Patriots game yesterday. As always Miami gave them a battle down in Miami, but Patriots kept them at bay.

Now, this is the type of wonderful weather I wish would hang around and carry us throughout the entire winter season. I'd definitely take it as my one and only Christmas wish or gift.
Glad to see that the PATS managed to keep the Dolphins at bay yesterday, even if it was by one touchdown. Those Dolphins have always been a troublesome bunch. It will truly be interesting to see what the loss of Gronkowski will do they go up against the 9-1 Houston Texans next Monday night. So far, they've done reasonably well but I'm nervous about those Texans!
How horrific for the Kansas City Chiefs'Head Coach, Romeo Crennel, to have witnessed the suicide of one of his players (age 23) after the player had allegedly murdered his girlfriend who was also the mother of his 3 mos old child. More amazing was how the Chiefs managed to overcome their shock and grief to gain their second win of the season. Small consolation I'd say! My prayers are with that now parentless 3 mos old and the respective families.
Well, I'm heading back out to enjoy what's left of this warm-spell before the chill of now early evenings descends. Hope you're able to take, at least, some advantage of this milder weather during a lunch break or just after work. I believe last year, around this time, we had a record breaking day of near 90 degrees. Oh, for a repeat of that kind of warmth! THINK SPRING!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like they're in a "dense fog" this morning. LOL! Only kidding!! While driving earlier on our local roadways, I found the fog indeed rolling in but thankfully it remained well above eye level from the driver's seat. WHEW!
Hope the fog lifts by afternoon and some of the warmer temps of yesterday will seep back in without further complication. I have more errands to run this afternoon and would like to be able to find a clearly marked parking spot.
Have a decent Tuesday!
Anyway,it will be on the warm side, but don't think we will see any sun today, like we did yesterday, which will keep temps cooler.
From Dr. Masters blog,he mentioned last december the same island got hit with a TS with 60 mph winds and 1500 people died from flooding, now they get hit with a Cat 5 Typhoon, I shudder to think what the destruction will be like and the death toll will be huge.
I also take note of his one sentence
Before hitting the Philippines, Typhoon Bopha brought a storm surge estimated at ten feet to the island nation of Palau, where near-total destruction is being reported in some coastal areas.
Certainly will send out my prayers to those people.

IS LOTS OF UNCERTAINTY REGARDING THE DURATION AND AREAL COVERAGE
OF DENSE FOG TONIGHT ACROSS THIS AREA.
and its not good.Dr. Masters currently reporting 270 deaths,my fear is it will be well over 1000.The destruction is almost total as Bopha hit as a Cat 5.
So sad when storms like this hit those that are so vulnerable.
The army said it was looking for at least 377 missing people while seeking help for more than 179,000 others who sheltered in schools, gyms and other buildings after losing everything.
Not doing much for Christmas this year, just did my usual cleaning. Not going to be doing much baking or fancy cooking for the Holidays. Not even going to decorate since it's only me here to enjoy them.
Hope you have a wonderful wknd dear one with your family. Blessings from Canada.
Hope your Christmas is enjoyable.
Not feeling all that well today so will be taking it easy. Think I will kick back with my book and see where the Black Ops will strike next. This is turning out to be a much better story than I thought it would be. It's called Night Stalkers by Michael Hawke. Special Ops Helicopter division.
Anyway dear one, have a great day. Hope you have a better wknd and that this rain passes through out to sea before tomorrow.
Good Afternoon, NEw!
Hope your Friday workday goes by swiftly and smoothly before you tend to your Christmasy weekend endeavors. Are you planning on climbing up any ladders to decorate the outside your home as well? If so, be careful! After all the months of renovation work inside, you'll certainly want to be in tip top shape to entertain come the big holidays ahead.
Glad that there's a warmup coming on Monday despite the predicted accompanying rainshowers. Wish Santa could once again fulfill that wish for the winter months ahead. Oh, to redo the last fall/winter season!
Despite not being a fan of Giselle Bunchen Brady, I'm glad everything went well for her in the safe delivery of a baby girl. Hope this event doesn't distract Tom too much while playing against the Texans on Monday night. They're definitely the team to beat if the PATS want to reach and win the AFC Championship playoffs plus Superbowl. Fingers crossed!
I'm with Alley as far as a very-low key Christmas this year. Hubby and I just want to continue relaxing and recouperating together at home after such a dramatically overwhelming past four months.
Anyway,just inside decorating this weekend.
Maybe he should carry a picture of his new daughter and add a little more inspiration. We'll see
