TS Isaac is the story right now.As a weak TS it is approaching the Lesser Antilles and should be moving past the islands tonight and early tomorrow.
Then the question is where does it go from there. Right now the indications by most models and forecasters is that after it slides under the atlantic ridge,a trough over the SE should create a weakness over Florida and the Bahamas which Isaac will try to slide up into.So Florida at this time seems to be the likely target at this point, but as we all know how the troughs and highs interact can change over the long range so we have to watch this carefully.
As far as New England the only effects I see at this point is maybe some rain if it slides up the coast inland.

This easily could be a out to sea storm, but way too early to predict that. For the present we have to watch Isaac, which is currently beginning to lash the Lesser Antilles.
