The worst is behind us,although we're not out of the woods yet, actually seeing breaks in the clouds this morning, and as we get some sunshine showers will build up,especially inland. This pattern will continue the rest of the week. The weekend looks warm and sunny, but to more summery type weather rather than March weather.
Our celtics pulled out a big win down in Miami to only need one more back here in Boston tomorrow night. I have to confess that I didn't think this older team could beat those super stars, but again it shows a team wins, not superstars.

Weatherwise, it doesn't feel like we're anywhere near out of the woods yet, as I just witnessed our home furnace kicking on due to reaching 69F inside. It's still too chilly indoors and out for my taste. Hope that the threat of serious t'storms will miraculously by-pass us as we return to 80ish weather over the weekend and next week. Don't think I'll be using the air-conditioner anytime soon, as it'll take at least a week of hot weather for me to completely thaw out. LOL!
Kudos to the Celts for pulling ahead of the Heat in the playoffs last night. I believe they're up 3 games to 2. Considering their very rocky start, due to the lengthy protracted NBA strike cutting well into the seasonal start, they sure have made a lot of headway since December. Only wish the Red Sox could get their act together and follow suit. All their regulars are on the disabled list.
Oh my gosh! The sun just emerged momentarily through the clouds, but went back in again! Hope this isn't a mirage or I've gone completely delusional! LOL!
Low temp this morning outside was 45.I'm afraid the sun is going to be teasing us for the rest of the week.I'm with you,we need 80 degree weather badly.
Maybe the shortened season is a blessing, those old legs may have been pretty worn down by now if they had to go through a long season.Lets hope they still have it for tomorrow night to finish this.
