A line of strong storms with lots of lightning crossed into western Mass, but as it progressed eastward this morning,it ran into the marine layer here in the east and quickly died out.A brief shower here or there.Still a chance today of a some storms, but they should remain West of Worcester and down into conn. The ocean air is just too stable for storms. This frequently happens in the spring, with storms weakening the closer they get the ocean.
We may even see some sun by late Saturday, and definitely on Sunday into Monday, but we head back into a wet pattern by mid week.Guess its going to be one of those unsettled springs as long as the blocking continues in the north atlantic.
