warmth continues

So I hit 69 degrees, with some areas touching 70 yesterday. Frontal passage last night will give us a quick shot of colder weather, but back into the 50's by Sunday and most of next week we should see the 60's.So our warm weather pattern we've had since last November continues.
Winds were definitely an issue yesterday. A house fire in a coast community south of Boston, quickly spread to 3 other houses, and all 4 houses were a total loss, thankfully everyone got out. It only took about 30 minutes for the fire to spread from one house to other, with 50 mph wind gusts.
Some reports of minor damage around the area.Winds really howled through the night and dropped off after the front moved through before dawn this morning.

Good Morning NEw!

Yesterday certainly gave us a wonderful taste of what's soon to come on a more permanent basis! Nearby Lawrence, MA actually reached a recorded 71F degrees! It was wonderful to finally be able to open up a couple of our home's windows and allow some natural fresh warm air to permeate. AHHHH! Spring hopes eternal. LOL!

I think I can adjust the return of a couple more days of chilliness before warmer temps make a comeback on Sunday and through most of next week. WHOO-HOO on so many levels!!! Like you, I'm thrilled about the reduction in home heating costs this season in the Northeast! I think a majority of us wish this historical mildness would return every winter! Last year's incredible deluge of snow was enough for a lifetime.

Thought I'd post a terrific and applicable tune as to the feelings I have about spring's seemingly earlier arrival and those longer daylight hours beginning on Sunday! YIPPEE!! BRING 'EM ALL ON!! LOL!

An old tune by one of our favorite, once highly popular, Boston singers who made good. She still has a great singing voice!
