Sorry to hear that you've caught a nasty cold at the tail end of of winter. Smart move to be able to stay home and care for it! Hope you're feeling better soon!
My area's received only a few inches of mostly snow. Thankfully, I can still see parts of an exposed roadway outside. Unfortunately, I have to trapse myself to Burlington, MA, early afternoon, for an appointment I couldn't cancel. The worst should be over by then, as I see on current regional maps that the remainder of this system is moving in a more northerly direction and should affect mostly Southern, NH. I'm also glad that I drive a still functional, small, all-terrain vehicle. LOL!
By this weekend, it will seem like, what one of our local newscasters mentioned, "a tale of two seasons", as on Saturday we could see temps rise to 50 plus again! Sounds like there will be just enough warmth ahead to melt all traces of this pesky white stuff away. All in all, though, I can't complain about this winter season as it was quite decent in spite of this sudden jab.
Remain warm and dry inside and get well soon from that miserable headcold! Hope you're not on-call this weekend!
I certainly feel better today then yesterday when I didn't even go to work.Yes,this has been a very easy winter by all standards,no complaints from me.
Just not enough cold air around to make a snow storm,as with most storms this winter.
