Another springlike day for the northeast, the warmest day this week is today.Don't be surprised to see some places hit 60.It turns unsettled tonight through friday, with friday the wettest day with a frontal passage and turning colder over the weekend.
No snow in sight for the rest of the month,so we will tie a record for the only two other months ever having only a trace of snow.

Hi NEw and all

Remodeling huh? I started building our house in 79 and it's not done YET!!! Down stairs is done, up stairs some base board, wallpaper etc. It's post and beam, a large greenhouse on the south side for heat in winter and to start plants for our garden in spring. Three bay attached garage with one bay as a workshop.

Best to all

Hi,Jus,yep,if one is going to own a home, then improvements are a necessity,of course we could just sit back and do nothing while it crumbles around us,that sounds intersting too.
Anyway as far as sports goes,I've been sour on professional sports for a while, but it does give me some release,I'll be watching them this year, but without the avid fan on my back.Chicago is very similar with the four teams, with the ups and downs over the years.Well the Cubies have part of our front office so we'll see what happens there.
Have a good evening

Hi NEw, (Hi Mass!)

So, NEw, the home improvement merry go round continues, lol. Mass did her work last summer. Then your basement project, and the roof thingy's. Then my turn with the exterior of our house.
Now it's your turn again to pull your hair out.

Is it a contractor you know? Or are you doing it yourself? The new French door sounds like a nice update, and warmer, too.

You sound pretty ticked off w/the sports teams lately. lol Just wait, you're guys will have a really cool game one day and it will all be forgotten, you can't help but be both sour and super fan in Boston. Sort of like Chicago.

Well, off again for a while. Have a great evening. You too Mass :)

Mass,so good to see you, glad to see you've taken a little break.I have a hectic period coming up when we start our remodeling projects next month.
As far as the weather,I could deal with winter happily if this would be a pattern.Right now it looks like above normal pattern right into spring, but I say that with a warning, about mother nature making a sneak attack, which she can do.
Anyway,I hope you've been able to enjoy some of this warm weather.

Good Afternoon NEw!

Taking a much needed break from this hectic month to catch up on hellos and say that these milder two day weather events are definitely putting me in the mood for what's hopefully right around the corner .... SPRING!!!! Hope that March will come and go more as a lamb this year to boot! I seriously wouldn't mind making these milder record breaking winters an annual event, especially, with the recent escalating fuel costs. If this keeps up, one's weekly salary will just make it to cover the cost of traveling to and from work. I heard that by Memorial Day weekend, we could be seeing approximately $5.00 per gallon! Incredible!

Hope you and yours are doing well and are able to catch some of this splendidly sunny, warmer fresh air.

spring training for baseball started this weekend. To say I'm cynical about our team with all these spoiled lazy players, would be an understatement. All the right things are being said at the moment.Use to look forward eagerly for the start of the season, but just no interest there. Will watch from a distance, but not going to spend a lot of time watching them, unless I think they've changed attitude on that team.
