So a beautiful summerlike weekend. We get warm days in October now and then, but to get an entire holiday weekend is unheard of.So hope everyone enjoyed it. I was out on the deck as much as possible, but was not feeling well all weekend,in fact stayed home from work yesterday.Feeling better today, but not a hundred percent.
So the cool down starts today and wet weather moves in late tomorrow,as the system that has been soaking Florida and the SE starts to move north.Weekend looks ok with normal temps in the 60's.
Patriots beat the hated Jets on Sunday.Always makes for a good day.We have the other brother Ryan coming in next Sunday as Dallas comes to town.

Looking its behind schedule this year, not sure why.Next week should see a lot more color.you can yell out the window all you want, those trees do what ever they want.Last year I asked them to drop their leaves in one area of my yard, and did they listen to me,no!!!They drop them all over the place.

So where IS the fall foliage?? I am giving a program at Mt. Auburn Cemetery this weekend (for little kids and their families, playing with the colored leaves)--I went over there yesterday and found ONE tree, a big sugar maple, that had a bit of color. Otherwise, all green. Have all the windows open and turned the ceiling fan on in the bedroom the last few nights. I'm not complaining, I guess, but it's strange.

Hi again NEw!

Hopefully, weatherwise, we'll be able to pass this way again in the not too distant future!

Sounds like you should check in with your doctor regarding those periodically recurring spells or episodes you suffer or is this something else?

Hi,all, thanks for dropping by.Despite being under the weather,I did get to enjoy some of the beautiful weather. My daughter actually went to the beach yesterday with her kids. You just don't hear that in October.
Mass, just starting to see some color showing up on the trees around here,I bet it was beautifull up there.and couldn't ask for any better weather.Never saw a cloud in the sky the entire weekend.
I love Seals and Croft.
Gamma LP,lol,I have to laugh when you say LP to the younger generation,"Whats that?"I have a huge collections of about 300 LPs,and I have a stereo equipment that converts my LPs to CD,and thats what I'm doing,I figure I won't get it done before you can't by CD players anymore.
I have several Seals and Croft LPs.
I am feeling better, but every once in a while I get these spells, where not so good, but certainly an improvement over the last few days.Actually started last Thursday.

We spoke with Betsey yesterday and they did outdoor activities all weekend.

She had Baron at a park yesterday morning until nap time.

Glad everyone got to enjoy the warm weather.

You feel better..

Good Morning NEw ~

Sorry to hear that you felt under the weather during this incredibly beautiful summer-like holiday weekend.
Hope you manage to overcome what's ailing you despite the Monday am office climate.

Hubby and I traveled up to Derry to visit my M-I-L who looked much better now that she's entered a rehab/nursing home there to help her keep up her mobility. Route 28 looked absolutely picturesque with colorful countrified scenes (including the Robert Frost Farm) along the way. We took this back way home as holiday weekend leaf peepers, etc. clogged the southbound portion of Rt 93.

Glad, too, that we now seem to be easing back into fall this week instead of re-entering another deep chilly plunge! Last week was too much of an eye-opener for me.

I heard last night that Sugarloaf, VT really benefited from the recent reopening of some shops, etc. during this holiday weekend and was crammed with tourists seeking lodging and food. This has greatly helped them to recoup after all the structural and financial losses caused by T/S Irene weeks ago.

Hope you can take it as easy as possible today and will feel much better soon!!

Pats looked awesome! What a difference this week NEw. Glad you had a nice weekend. Seems like everyone is fighting off a throaty thing, or a stomach thing lately. Lots of chatter about being sick. Hope you feel better today.

Good tune.
