Morning starts off busy, but I made it to my new blog.Lots of showers and thunder in eastern portions. We received about a 1/4 inch of rain, with some heavy thunder as a vortex spinning around northern maine spun some instability down our way.Today looks to be much better with comfortable temps and dewpoints.
Hopefully another system slides out south of us tonight, modesl disagree a little.Thursday and Friday look nice,I will be off on Friday and we will probably head to the beach.
Weekend may get unsettled, especially late Saturday and early Sunday.
TS Emily is churning south of PR,and should head north and come close to Floriday and the SE coast before heading out to sea,but when systems come this close it has to be watched closely.
Heat continues in the southern plains and gulf coast states,no end in sight.
Redsox eked out a ninth inning win last night, but still only hold a 1 game lead of the Yankees,we just can't shake them. The Yankees come into town this weekend and this should be a wild weekend.

Hiya NEw, only 26,000 people showed up last night for the White Sox Yankees game here. Yankees may be sleepin by the time they get to your guys, lol. We'll put them into a nice bored relaxed state for ya.

Bz bz here, too. But hoping it continues.

Nice amount of rain for you there. How's your tomatoes? Did you do that topsy turvy thing again?

LOL on the Aunt Emily/TS Emily comparisons...glad you enjoyed.

Happy Hump day! Oh tomorrow will be your TGI--T right? Whoo hooo makes it all worth it! Shortened weeks should be mandatory in the summer :)

Good Afternoon NEw ~

We were so lucky, yesterday, to have escaped those serious t'storms that stayed well west of us in Lowell and made their way through parts of the Boston/Metro area!! Currently, a section of our sky looks rather dark with sunny spots, but if anything occurs, should produce just rainfall.

Glad to read that you received some rainfall to help moisten your parched yard and garden. Thank goodness, you escaped from any accompanying hail. I know Reading, MA got pelted as well as parts of the Cape.

At least, the rest of the week looks much more promising barring any further run-ins with smelly vermin. LOL!

Reposted from my blogheader earlier:

WOKE UP EARLY THIS AM TO LEARN THAT A SKUNK WAS WADDLING AROUND UNDER SOME TREES NOT FAR FROM OUR BEDROOM WINDOWS! WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY! WHIFF, WHIFF, UH... HONEY??? LOL!!! HUBBY INSTANTLY CALLED ANIMAL CONTROL, BUT AS OF AN HOUR AGO, AFTER CAUTIOUSLY INSPECTING THE OUTSIDE AREA, IT APPEARS TO HAVE FINALLY VAMOOSED OUT OF SIGHT...BUT OUT OF MIND? HMMM... GUESS WE CAN NOW CANCEL THE TOWN'S ANIMAL OFFICER AND ANY HAZMET SUIT. GLAD IT'S BEEN COOL ENOUGH TO KEEP MOST OF OUR WINDOWS CLOSED. LAST NIGHT, THE AMOROUS VARMIN PAID AN UNEXPECTED VISIT AS WELL ... COUGH, COUGH, WHEEZE, WHEEZE, AS I QUICKLY CRANKED OUR WINDOWS SHUT ... BUT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THE DEVIL HAS LINGERED AROUND HERE (IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE) TILL AND DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS. GLAD OUR NEIGHBOR NOTED IT FIRST THING, TOO, BEFORE LETING HER DOG OUT ON HIS LEASH OR OUR NEIGHBORHOOD WOULD'VE BEEN RENAMED, "FUNKYTOWN!" I THINK SHE BETTER INSPECT SOME HOLES DUG NEAR THOSE LANDSCAPING PLANKS CLOSE TO HER HOME.

WON'T YOU TAKE ME TO FUNKYTOWN? - (Click on Skunk Gif Below)

Happy Wednesday NEW...still overcast here with the odd sprinkle of rain but nothing much otherwise. Just wet enough to not be able to cut the grass...oh well, there is always tomorrow morning...

Hope you have a great day and that the weather holds out for ya.
