perfect 10 weather day

Everybody has their own idea of the perfect weather day.
Yesterday was my idea of the perfect weather day.
High temp was only about 76,which most southerners would be running for the sweatshirt. Dew points were in the low 50's.Light breeze, which turned into a seabreeze along the coast.A little chilly near the water. But with the warm July sun,it kept the day warm not too far inland.Perfect working outdoors, running,in my case I went golfing after work and couldn't have had better weather, the perfect golf weather.
Today should be very similar with temps around 80.Nice weather into the weekend, with warmer temps and dewpoints beginning to climb on Sunday.
This is a typical summer in New England, a couple of hot humid days and then a cold front sweeps through and refreshes the air.The coming week will be the same in this pattern as High pressure stays in the midwest and bakes them.
Redsox are back in action tonight as the second half of the season starts. David Ortiz has been suspended for 4 days, which is to be expected. He appealed so he is playing this weekend against the Tampa Bay Rays, then will probably drop the appeal to sit out when they go to Baltimore.Listening to the Orioles crying about their suspensions, you would think they did nothing wrong.

Thanks,Mass, sorry about your renovations,as one who has been through it before,I know how it feels.Renovations rarely go smoothly,so you just have to sit back and hope they overcome the problems smoothly.Try to have a calm weekend. I am so looking forward to this vacation,I mean I hope no one is in the driveway when I'm leaving the parking lot here.

Jus,when all those tornadoes hit down south this spring, a large contingent of utility workers went from New England,so it is kind of cool the way the different areas help out with those areas that are hit hard.
Good luck with your appointments.Try not to pull out your hair, bald women real estate agents would be kind of a turn off.Unless your Sinead O'connor.

Hi NEw, yes, isn't that really ironic. What a great country, state helping state (well, utility company helping utility company)
I got super super busy and will be showing houses all weekend, but wanted to say HAVE A GREAT VACATION and hope you have just perfect weather!!! Good to hear you get to leave the rat race behind.
I've been working a lot on prospecting and seems it is now coming through with some tangible appointments and clients. And, so it begins again! Phew, it was getting me nervous again without much coming in, so it's a good busy until I start pulling my hair out.

Mass, good luck with the projects. OOOH I thought you would post that drawing, but that's ok. I'm sure it is going to look fantastic!

Good to hear from you and not have to fill in the miss letters. This is pretty funny they are coming from Joplin,I can't believe they have everything fixed there yet, considering the extent of the damage.
Anyhow,Yes,next week I will be on vacation.Plan to spend 4 days down on Cape Cod with the family and just forget about this crazy job.Today will be a bear of a day trying to get all my work done and organized so I don't have my boss on my back when I return.
Hopefully neither of us will have to deal with any severe weather in the near future.
Starting next month,we here have to watch the tropics,I have this nervous feeling this year.Hopefully that nervous feeling is just something in my diet.

Wanted to stop by this am, to wish you a most well deserved enjoyable vacation week! Granted, the weather looks to be a kind of hit or miss proposition come Monday and possibly Thursday with higher temps, humidity and a storm or two on the horizon, but the middle of the week still looks to be more like today.

Our renovation project still continues and I was up most of the night trying to calm an over-stressed hubby. Our strangely configured older style windows are posing a real challenge to the installers and, thereby, gumming up the works and time-table a bit. This morning, we've managed to understand what they plan to do so to meet their contractual obligations and not leave us in limbo. I did a mock up pic of the outside of our home, a pic which was taken a few years ago, and inserted the new style windows to be installed so my hubby could see, for himself, how nice it will all look when all is said and done. Thankfully, his brother, who happens to be a licensed contractor, stopped by to check things out and explain they whys and wherefores better for him to understand. I'm just grateful the weekend's here, as I'm ready to collapse from an exhaustive anxiety filled few days and nights worrying more about hubby than the project.

Hope this day passes quickly and smoothly for all of us and that you can enjoy every moment of your vacation time!! MAY YOU AND YOURS HAVE A REAL BLAST ALL WEEK LONG!

Hi NEw!!! At the office. Had real coffee this morning yay!!! Thanks for all the support and laughs during the 'energy crisis'. Still no cable or internet or phone. Interesting conversation here this morning. A woman in my office had a team of electric workers fixing her power from Joplin, MO. I found that to be ironic, but so cool. They brought them in from all over. The guys who fixed our street were from Ohio.
Anyhooo, again I appreciate all the posts. I think I read you are going on vacation, if so, have a GREAT TIME and hope you get more of that perfect weather.

Perfect wx is pretty much what you described, but not dropping lower than 65 at night--good sleeping weather and not too cold.

Have a good Friday!!! Whoot Whoot!!!
