What a week this has been!!!!!Insane here at work.Have a new work laptop and all kinds of configuration problems.
Wife had her checkup yesterday and they are concerned with enlarged lymph nodes under her arm, and want to some testing.
Certainly doesn't feel like a short week.
Still more and more videos and pictures coming in from the tornadoes out in western Mass. The National weather service rated the tornado that hit Springfield as an EF-3,not all the time but reached that level at times during its life on the ground. STill waiting for the complete report on the other two tornadoes.
Our weather has certainly taken a complete reversal. It was 48 degrees this morning and the air is extremely dry. Weather patterns are blocked again so dry weather for the near future with no heat or humidity.

Hi,Mass, watching the stories about the trailer camp,I guess most of them were able to seek shelter in the basement of the house nearby, but this couple were still in their trailer as it got flipped and they were tossed around inside and a refrigerator came loose and landed on her.I guess her husband is in serious condition in the house.
We will try to enjoy the weekend, but it weighs heavy on our mind. She has already said she could never go through Chemo again, especially so soon after that last bout, less than two years.I honestly don't think her body could take it anyway. We can only pray its a false alarm, but thank you for you best wishes.

Good Afternoon NEw!

Sorry to hear about the angst at work and, now, a possible recurring health threat with your wife. I hope, if anything, her enlarged nodes are due to something endocrinological and not a recurrence of the worst case scenario!!!

An old college friend of mine and I are concerned about another old college friend of ours who happens to live in Brimfield, MA. I Googled her address to where she lives in relation to Haynes Hill Road which took a direct hit and it appears, for now, that her home may have escaped harm or serious damage. It is 3.5 miles away from the tornadic path taken on that road. I heard that there was one fatality there due to campers or trailers in a vacation campground that took a direct hit. It's a miracle far more didn't perish!!! Hope all who were affected will be able to recover emotionally, physically and financially. I'm so grateful we escaped those horrific late afternoon storms!!

You're right about the sudden chilliness brought down from Canada the other day! It's back to sweater, jacket weather for a few more. Hey, considering what's been brought to bear elsewhere, I can easily live with it!!

Hope the remainder to this miserable work week of yours goes swiftly by, and you and your wife can try and have a reasonably relaxing weekend. All my best wishes!!!

Thanks NEw for the wishes. Sounds like you REALLY need this weekend to hurry up and be here! Sorry to hear about more tests, ugh. And, can't believe my eyes either as we look at yet another set of vids and pics of tornado damage.

Getting things ready for the ball game tonight, so heading out. Hope you have a peaceful, undisturbed weekend!
