Heavy snow has set in quickly and at work, but will be shifting home this morning,as weather has gone downhill a lot quicker than expected. So we are in for 5-9 inches today, before the main event hits late tonight and tomorrow. This is going to be a huge event for central and eastern US.with blizzard conditions around the great lakes icing in the Ohio valley severe weather potential in the South. heavy snow and ice and sleet and rain here in the east and northeast.
I'm going to be close to the mixing line, but not before a foot of snow falls tomorrow ontop of todays 9 inches,so when all is said and done,15-20 inches north of the Mass pike.Where do we put it.

Hi NEw!

I echo everyone's sentiments about your wife's safe return from work and sincere concern about her fall from the car this am. This is not how any one should be celebrating a birthday under any circumstances! Hope that you both are more comfortable now, nestled safely inside a warm home and will be able to have an enjoyably quiet celebration together this evening!

Continued best wishes to you both!

Jus,its ok to be redundant, cause this weather is redundant, snow, snow, snow.Measuredd 6 inches out there right snow, still light snow coming down.
Alley, hope you don't get much,I do have a snowblower, after this winter,I will present this snowblower with an award for uncommon valor and bravery. That machine has saved my life.

Hi NEW, no snow here but its cold and damp. Still waiting for the big one to reach us. Looked at the radar and we may see some of it yet. Was out this morning to do my grocery shopping just in case we do get some. Going to go and grab a nap now as I am chilled and my back is aching like heck.

Be very careful this afternoon dear one. I think its time you get yourself a snowblower to remove snow. No more shoveling for you. Sorry to hear that your wife fell this morning. Glad to hear she is ok though except a little bruised pride and maybe bottom...

Oh I'm glad she got home ok, but the fall is not good :(

NEw, my posts are getting a bit redundant so I hope all will be well by you and you manage to have a nice night regardless of the weather.

Hi NEw, hope your wife gets home ok. I am also concerned about my older dau getting home from her work. They are not apt to let her out early.
For you this is really just getting beyond 'historic', 'epic', 'record setting'...for you this is just downright horrific.

I am watching Oklahoma City on the news, and am getting very nervous.

Good Morning NEw ~

It's starting to come down rather heavily in our area as well. Seems obvious now that the Northeast's "Snowpocalypse Week is definitely well underway!" I certainly am glad to read that the mixed sleet/rain border will be much more south of those living along the Northeastern Mass./ Southern NH border, and truly hope the same applies to your city/town and surrounding area as well!!

I saw on the news last night that a man from Waltham, MA fell off his roof, while trying to clear off all the snow and ended up severely injuring one of his legs. I knew it wasn't you since it happened during daylight hours and while at work. It certainly is a cautionary tale right now for many of us no matter what our age! I shudder to think of the experience!

Hope you'll be released from work within a reasonable period and have a safe passage home. Be sure to continue pacing yourself out there, as best as possible, while shoveling and snowblowing this time, as it'll probably feel much weightier than the last snowfall!

I don't even want to think about Saturday's storm right now. Guess it's best to take this one storm at a time and hope for the best.

May you and yours continue to remain safe and healthy throughout this wild winter season!

HOPE, WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE, WE'LL GET TO WEAR THESE SHIRTS!
