Those in the northeast can remember all the complaints how cool and wet our summer was last year.Well,I'm curious are those same people complaining this year? People in the northeast tend to complain from year to year. For those that love to observe the weather, this area is a great place to be.No two seasons are ever the same from year to year, and very often if a season is much below or much above normal, the following year will be the opposite, and I feel this summer will be no different.
Our spring was above normal and our summer is certainly starting out to be one of those long hot summers.
97 yesterday and may get close to 100 today. The rest of the week will be cooler 80's to 90,but instead the humidity will be high,so the comfort level won't show any improvement. No relief until next Monday at the earliest.

I tell ya NEW, I would love to see a T storm just about now. This has been 4 days straight of 90+ temps. Its just too damn hot. Had to turn the AC off this afternoon as it was running constantly. Its hot in here now too but with the fans at least I can breathe. I will be putting the AC on again after dark once it starts to cool a bit outside. This is just terrible for those of us who can't tolerate the heat.

Hope the rain brings some relief to you. Have a safe evening.

NEw!

I know you all are burning hot with your heat!

I'll bet my daughter and son in law are using their 4 little "window a/c units" every day and night now! I cannot belive you all do not have Central Air in all your homes..but their home is very very old...

That song you put in my blog was so cute!
Yes, Nolan is like a little crazy driver in that walker moving around my house.. he is able to get in to everything!

Thank you for the smile and laugh!

AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM OR TWO MAY DEVELOP ACROSS THE INTERIOR
HIGH TERRAIN THURSDAY AND FRIDAY DURING THE AFTERNOON/EARLY
EVENING HOURS. IF A STORM IS ABLE TO DEVELOP IT WILL BE VERY SLOW
MOVING AND THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE VERY LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL
AND POSSIBLE EVEN RESULT IN ISOLATED FLOODING.

A COLD FRONT WILL BRING A BETTER CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION SOMETIME THIS WEEKEND. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL AND ISOLATED POCKETS OF FLOODING WILL BE THE MAIN CONCERN
WITH THE ACTIVITY. HOWEVER...A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY ALSO BECOME
SEVERE.

Ooooh, you guys are really hot there! We're hot, but not THAT hot! Thanks for all the visits this weekend while I was off and running. Did you notice the pic for the fourth on my blog was Boston Harbor? So happy you had a wonderful time with your family at the Boston Pops and the fireworks show.

I did not waterski. I was just the spotter this time. They only had a slolem ski and a wakeboard. I think I'd have to start on two, and drop one if I got up the nerve at all. But it was really really fun to just watch.

Mass: that ice cream truck is histerical!

Be safe out there and I do hope you guys don't lose power.

NOW, THIS IS HOT WEATHER!!!

Hey NEw~

It's getting pretty hard to find ways to beat the heat today .... even for ice cream trucks.

As far as people complaining about last year, I certainly wasn't one of them. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing a reduction in my heating and electrical bills from non-use of AC and fans, etc.

Hope your Tuesday is a good one, and you, too, will find ways to survive these high temps! Presently, your area is really feelin' it with temps of 97F ( ) degrees. YIKES!!!

STAY COOL AND DRINK ENOUGH WATER OR NON-CAFFEINATED BEVERAGES!
