Just when you thought it was safe to put that pump and wet vac away...
Think again, another long duration storm is impacting the east coast and specifically the northeast, this storm is very similar to the storm that inundated our area a couple of weeks ago,and we still haven't recovered for the 10 or 11 inches of rain then, and now expecting anywhere from 3-6 inches in the same areas.I would not be surprised to see it go above that in some areas. This has such a tropical connection to it,that an enormous amount of water will be pumped into this system and with possible thunderstorms embedded in it,some huge amounts will come down in a small time frame.
Rivers are still running high so expect major flooding, and this time even the large rivers such as the Charles,Msyic,Merrimack and Conneticut river will flood. This is going to turn into a very serious event for the northeast.
The bright spot after this is over by Thursday, some very warm springlike weather through the weekend, but until then, man your boats,I still have my ark ready.
