A month of interesting weather in Ireland

What a wild weather month it has been here in Ireland. If you are a weather buff, then this is the place to be. This morning there is not a cloud in the sky. That is quite rare here in Co. Clare on the shores of Galway Bay. I have seen everything from rough seas and 120 kph (75 mph) winds to flooded roads and 7 inches of rain in 24 hours. I even saw a little sleet and snow.

My wife and I come home tomorrow after a wonderful month stay and I must say I am looking forward to the stable weather of the NC Mountains :)
