Winter Storm Warning Issued for Camden County NJ.
Timing: Tuesday Mid-day through Wednesday Morning.
Snowfall Total: 6-10 inches with higher amounts locally.
Impact: Heavy Snow, Blowing Snow, Dangerous Travel, Bitter Cold Temperatures, Limited Visibility, High potential for traffic accidents late Tuesday because of coinciding with PM Rush. FD/EMS/PD should plan ahead.
Operations: Camden County EMCOMM(ARES/RACES) including Camden County SKYWARN now activated. Group activation allows necessary personnel to ready radio equipment and stations for activation. Checks of backup power including battery and generator's being conducted. Radio Station checks in progress to ensure all radio's programmed, charged and ready for service.
Operational Frequency: VHF 146.895 negative offset CTCSS 192.8. UHF 442.150 positive offset CTCSS 156.7, DSTAR UHF 440.24375 K2EOC G.
Activity: Nets OPS/SKYWARN OPS/SNOWFALL Measurements to be conducted on 146.895. 442.150 for backup, regional coordination via DSTAR.
SITREPS shall be issued through the storm to advise of conditions and updates.
