We've been having very spring-ish weather lately. I saw the first non-frozen precipitation (rain) of the year at home near Nederland last weekend (March 30th). Last night we got some of the largest graupel I've ever seen... marble size and even a few larger pieces. I put a couple in the fridge and might post some pictures if I get to it tonight.
We're on tap for another shot of precipitation tomorrow as a strong low pressure system tracks through the Four Corners area. The water vapor loop below shows the system pretty clearly. Models are still all over the board in terms of amounts, but our warning is calling for 8-16" of snow through tomorrow and MUCH colder temperatures for the next few days (it's a balmy 53F in Nederland right now).
