The snow total for yesterday at our place was 7", which brings our total from these twin storms to 26" since last Thursday. Not bad, not bad at all...
Rumor has it yesterday's snow was primarily an event for our immediate area (i.e. - the foothills west of Boulder). Totals were meager here in Louisville and over in Boulder, and I also heard Eldora got very little snow from yesterday's action. That suggests some training or favorable orographics enhanced our local snowfall. Lucky us. :)
Just checked Eldora Mountain Resorts webpage and yeah, it seems like yesterday's storm mostly missed them somehow:
CURRENT CONDITIONS:
New snow in the last 24 hours: 0.0 inch(es)
New snow in the last 48 hours: 0.0 inch(es)
New snow in the last 72 hours: 10.0 inch(es)
Looks like a beautiful day up there:
