Winter forecast for Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Sorry for the late forecast, I was caught up in the season and forgot to issue the forecast at the usual time.
After a cold fall winter is starting out cold as well. though this may not last through the whole winter. 2012 is now the 2nd year in a row to not get below -40C in my area. 2012 will finish 0.6C warmer than normal. Not a record but still quite warm.
Overall winter 2012/13 should be near normal with near normal snowfall.
Dec 21-31 2012: Very cold, becoming milder in Alberta.
Jan 1-15 2013: Mild air spreads eastward into Saskatchewan and Manitoba, some rain, freezing rain showers in Alberta.
Jan 15-31: frigid air returns with heavy snow and possible blizzard conditions.
Feb 1-15: Slow warming in most areas and quick thaw.
Feb 15-28: Highly variable, Expect mild spells with rain and freezing rain along with cold snaps with heavy snow.
March 1-20: Becoming warm, possibly an early spring in most areas, will still be a few cold snaps and snowstorms
