49 degrees F @ the house this a.m.
42 degrees F @ Big Sandy Creek.
Low clouds from ground level to approx 100 feet.
Some swaths like painted by a cloudy paintbrush.
Rains have stopped again. Pine beetles advancing again.
Beautiful weather otherwise.

Anywhere from light ground mists to full on pea soup fog this morning. 58 degrees F, dewpoint @ 58, 100 % RH. Still a slight surplus of precip. We could use a good toad floater to help the allergy sufferers. There has been more pollen covering everything the last 4 weeks then I've ever seen since I moved here. The flora is in it's full glory!

Greetings. It's that time of year. Our annual brush with winter precipitation. Looks like a small chance of snow.Depends on the timing of the low pressure through sliding through to the sotheast on Friday a.m. We'll be watching for changes in the forecast.

An all time Texas, (for Me), low temperature on Jan. 10 2010. We had a bitter 9.5 degrees F. The pool was circulating to prevent freezing the pump. The sides were frozen. The house was showing us where all the warm air leaks were. The garage got down to 28 F so we lost all the fruit and tropicals. there are some plants that made it through though. It was a flashback to the great white north. No. I don't miss that at all.
