I am anticipating some intense T-Storms to roll through the Great Lakes more to the South South Western Region.

Weathernetwork's alert

POTENTIALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING THIS AFTERNOON ALONG A SLOW-MOVING COLD FRONT. THIS IS AN ALERT TO THE POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS..LISTEN FOR UPDATED STATEMENTS. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES TAKE IMMEDIATE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.

HOT HUMID AIR REMAINS SOLIDLY IN PLACE ACROSS SOUTHERN ONTARIO TODAY. IN SPITE OF THESE SULTRY CONDITIONS..THERE HAS BEEN A LACK OF FOCUS FOR THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT THIS MORNING. A COLD FRONT EXTENDING FROM COTTAGE COUNTRY SOUTHWESTWARDS INTO LOWER MICHIGAN WILL AID IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF POTENTIALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS AS IT MOVES SOUTHEASTWARDS. IN ADDITION..LAKE BREEZES FROM LAKES ONTARIO AND ERIE SHOULD HELP AUGMENT THE STORM DEVELOPMENT. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS ARE THE MAIN CONCERNS. TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS AND FREQUENT INTENSE LIGHTNING WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY THE STORMS. THEY SHOULD BEGIN TO ABATE LATER THIS EVENING.

PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST PUBLIC FORECASTS FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

Severe thunderstorm watch for
Burlington - Oakville continued

Here are some graphics before I leave for my storm chase:
