Nice shot of the Pileated Woodpecker, I have only seen one once in the wild, and that was 15 yrs ago in Oregon !

MEL...your pictures are superb...Yes we do have much to be thankful right here in our own backyard. The Niagara region has many beautiful areas as we do here in Southern Ontario with Point Pelee and Rondeau Park not to mention the whole Lake system...Have a wonderful day and continue sharing your great pics..
