Conducted fall inspection of the weather station this morning. During the inspection we look for debree obstructing the weather station, loose bolts, and any sign of malfunction. Every thing checked out to be visually sound.

I have been in contact with weather underground over the past several weeks concerning repeated removal of our station feed. After evaluating the data and looking at our station my conclusion is we are measuring heat island effect due to our location inside Abilene. This is something we cannot change or correct. The new anemometer has been installed. Special thanks to John Harvey who puts up with me and goes up on the penthouse roof while I watch from the main roof. We see who the person is that is scared of heights.
