I have been in contact with weather underground over the past several weeks concerning repeated removal of our station feed. After evaluating the data and looking at our station my conclusion is we are measuring heat island effect due to our location inside Abilene. This is something we cannot change or correct. Our data is what it is and we are not outside measurement or setup parameters guidelines. Because we have reached an impasse, I have decided to seek alternative venues to report our data to our students and the greater Abilene area. My apologies for disruption in data as we make this move.
Currently we are working on creating our own website as well as feeding data to Weather bug. Once again, thank you for your patience as we make the change over.
