Whew! Sure been cold lately. This winter ('06 & '07) we've had the coldest and most unusual season. Had somewhat more than "usual" snowfall, and coldest temps in the 3 1/2 years we've been here. Had 3 minus days, a -9 and a -5 and forgot the other one (Who wants to remember?). Our hot water froze, the light bulbs heating the water pump/bladder room went out and froze the cold water too, once. It took 3 days for the hot water to unfreeze! (Cold showers, whether you want it or not!) (I waited!) :)
Our altitude is 5,100. (Besides my Davis stuff, I just bought an Oregon Scientific unit for our RV. That thing is really great! Wow! Got it through Amazon.com and was quite surprised at the price, but had not had Oregon S. stuff before and was very pleasantly surprised with that too! This is the BAR608HGA. Lotsa great features for the price. It's ACCURATE ! So, just in case you were wondering, there's a little about that gem. We swapped our older 28 ft. 5th wheel, for a smaller (20 ft.) trailer. In mid-February, we take it out on it's maiden voyage to Quartzsite, AZ. (Rock and Gem show and swap meet)
22 degs outside now, 44 pct. and probably into the low double digis again. (This morning... 10.9)
That's it for now. I'll have to update this site a little better than I have so far.
