But what I see out the window looks like white snow.
Lots of white snow.


It feels more like Winter with the cold wave that has been dropping down out of Canada, but it's still pretty dry and snowless around the Twin Cities area in MN. Check out these photos from my area.

It's hard to tell from this picture that it's Winter. Temp. at 1:20pm was 26 deg. F with a wind of 10mph. Looks like Summer doesn't it?

Weatherman said 40 to 80 percent chance of snow. Look what we got this Fri Jan 20, 2012. The snow drought is over.

Not going to be very active today. Been feeling under the weather the last few days and yesterday started to run a fever. It peeked at 101.3 last night, but still maintaining at 100.5 even with the fever reducers.

A large area of steady light snow is falling over the southern Twin City Metro area...and down to Mankato...Fairmont...Albert Lea...and the Iowa border. The snow is moving into western Wisconsin...east and south of the Twin Cities. The trailing edge is located from around Worthington in southwest Minnesota...to New Ulm in south central...to the southern Twin City Metro...over to Rice Lake Wisconsin. Visibilities are reduced over south central and southeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Snow fall amounts have been widespread half inch with up to a couple inches near the Iowa border...between Sioux Falls and Albert Lea and Rochester...to a trace or a few tenths inch near Watertown to the northern Twin City Metro. Snow is slowly ending over Minnesota...a widespread total of a half inch to an inch of new snowfall is possible over southeast Minnesota and parts of western by the end of the evening.

It's Monday Feb. 13, 2012 at 6:20pm CST.
Just got a call from my son that he is stuck in traffic coming home because we started getting snow around 3pm and the roads are now glare ice.

What a strange Winter we are having this season.
