I am dreaming of 70 degree days.

I am not complaining about the rain. I realize that the more rain we have now, the less drought we will have later, but c'mon already.

Please.

Wow! has it been so long?!

In September when he took me to newport, we had a good time. on the way home his truck broke down and he had it towed for 140 miles, thanks to AAA. The following Friday, I was doing errands around town and my car wouldn't start. I had my car in the shop for about 5 days and gave him rides to and from work. His car remaind in the shop for the better part of 4 weeks. - that was crazy and it got real old, real fast.

The doctors started playing with my asthma controller medicine to see if the fatigue was a sideeffect of that.

*****************
since I last posted. I have had a talk with the BF. He's always telling me how set he is in his ways.... I finally asked him if he was so set in his ways that there was no hope for this relationship, or did this relationship mean enough to him to fight for?

He asked if I wanted the answer right away? I said no.
He asked if I wanted the answer in a week? I said no.
When do you want the answer? When you are ready to give it.

two days later, he told me that he realizes that he hasn't been good by me and that he doesn't see himself changing. Then he said that maybe it would be best if we went our separate ways. We both agreed that there was no need for a messy devorce. friends are hard to come by and there is no need to loose a friend just because dating didn't work.

Whew! that went better than planned. - this was just the week before thanksgiving.

My sister was expecting in early January. But things were going a bit scary for her and the wee one in mid December.the afternoon of the 14th. they did an emergency c-section and brought Mateo Michael 3 weeks early.

Christmas eve, we learned that he won his battle of jaundice and didn't have to use the biliruben blanket anymore. I didn't get to see it, but word has it that it made him look like a glow-worm. Just yesterday, I got to see his eyes for more than a few moments...wow! he does have eyes. He's a good little baby, doesn't fuss much, unless Wee little Lass gets her face too close to his. - don't get me wrong, she is a great big sister, she even supports Mom when she changes the diapers.

Got Paperport for Christmas and now I am trying to install it...not going as good as I had hoped. I may have to get Dad over here to help.

***********
Post break-up is great! I feel like I mourned the relationship the last several weeks - in order to get the strength to break up.

Since the change in Asthma meds and the breakup, the fatigue has seemed to improove. I have been spending my month between Thanksgiving and Christmas crocheting slipper booties for me and the older three kids. I think I got the sizing down pretty good on all of the kids and I even gave them a bit of room to grow. Seige is 14 and growing like a weed. I think this past year he shot up from 4'7" to 5'3", so I told him when he out grows them, to let me know and I will make him another pair.

Still not been around - hope you are OK ???

Here is my "humorous" greeting for a Very Happy Month :)

Three chocolate Kings of Orient far
Not rabbits white: now that's bizarre!
With crowns of gold
And gifts, we're told,
They bring you a peaceful December.

Hi there -

No Katia was OK down here - windy, and lots of rain, but nothing like Scotland got - poor Scotland gets all the bad weather that comes via the Gulf Stream....

Birthday? Birthday? ... it falls on a Monday -lol - so when are you going away? This weekend?
Hope you have a wonderful time!

wowzers! has it been two weeks?! How time flies.

I thought about you when I heard that Katia was headed towards the UK. I prayed that it didn't make too much of a mess for you and your loved ones.

went to dr. I am early stage one...very early, but they feel that the fatigue is worse than normal for this condition.Dr. thinks I may be experiencing a food or drug allergy...for two + years. Yeah.right.

My birthday is right around the corner and last friday, my BF announced that he's taking me to Newport, OR to celebrate. He has reserved an Urt for us. He's never been there and the urt has beds and a heater...okay, I am game.

He'll be here in like 2 hours or so...gotta run.

ciao

Almost two weeks since you last visited WU - hope you are OK .

I had to get into the GofT and clear up the ravages of the storm Katia, that gave us a visit last weekend.... such a mess, it was, you wouldn't have recognised it!

Take care :))

Well, I just can't believe I didn't drop in my bunnies for you in September - how could I miss it!

Sorry!

Am I reading it right, the last diagnosis you gave me is now not the problem that has been causing all your lethargy and pains?

I am glad the nightmare day turned out to be a success!!! :-)

I know I haven't been around much lately, but the computer is in the least comfortable room in the house...when the temp is over 90*. The room faces south and there is no AC in here...even fans don't cut it.

This morning feels good and I have a few moments to myself, so what the hay!

I have been dealing with health issues. After two years, and thinking we had a diagnosis, we are back where we started. Okay, so on the 16th I get to learn how far back we really were sent. It's just crazy.

The BF, the loving guy that he is...the day after the liver biopsy he asked me to join him on a bicycle ride. Huh?! He wanted me to go to an annual Star Party that he's been attending for the past three years, but I wasn't in the mood to sleep on the ground...so I sent him.

He wants me to go deep sea fishing next weekend, but I don't enjoy hanging over the edge of the boat...I told him to make it a boys weekend.

I must admit, that he does have me wondering. I got a phone call from him and his question was. "What date is your birthday?" When I told him, he responded." I knew it!" then he hung up.

The more I think about this, the more I wonder what he has in store...I hope it's something good!
---------------------------------

Yesterday,Started out as a nightmare, but at noon I got to meet up & spend the afternoon with a dear friend from grade school. We had been wanting to get together, but I couldn't believe it took us this long to do it.

I have been talking to her about how to find her "decorating style", so I wanted to take her to the bookstore with the best selection of magazines. When we arrived, they are going out of business. Everything was 60-80% off. The magazines were well picked over, so I went to the architecture section. One book I found was regular $45, but had a %5.99 sticker, then I got 60% from that! Unbelievable!!

Oh, I had fun helping her with her errands. I helped her to find inexpensive and practical solutions to simple decorating "problems". she had 3 postcards that didn't quite fit the 5x7 frames. so I sugested for her to put some black construction paper behind the parts that are left bare. I couldn't imagine that the dollar store didn't have consturction paper! Then I took her to the craft store and showed her that the scrapbooking paper is better for the frame (acid free). the selection was better, you can buy by the sheets, the colors were richer and only $.69 cents per sheet.

You know, I don't think of it as pride, but I do feel good about being able to share one of my strengths with someone who has that as a weakness...and help them. Especially when that person shares with me how blessed she is that I was able and willing to share that information with her.

Yup. Yesterday was a good day. All in all.

I called membership services and filed a complaint about the whole issue. the gent tried to make sure I got through, but he spent 15 minutes on hold and got VM. I tried both numbers again after breakfast, got through and scheduled the apt. Now...I get a phone call that someone esle had scheduled the same apt time 2 minutes prior to me scheduling. Arrrgggghhhhh! I had to reschedule the reschedule!!

Now that I have an apt. time I am going to leave town before they can call me back!

You, my dear friend are not old... just well experienced.

take care of that jaw. I do know how painful that can be.

I was supposed to be called today for a reschedule, but I called them instead. They didn't call and they didn't answer when I called. Arrgghhh!

I will turn into a full pirate before this is all said and done. The BF wants to make this up to me. He's taking me camping and fishing tomorrow. (3 camping trips in 4 weeks).
He likes things more rugged, he bought me a mattress pad, new mummy sleeping bag and hiking pack. The mattress is too thin, the bag is too clausterphobic and the pack...well, a duffle bag is easier to find things in. This time I am taking my queen sized airbed and sleeping bag....and the duffle. wait until he finds out......

Okay, how's this one for you?

I get all mentally psyched up for having a biopsy this morning. My parents show up for morale support, my BF is there to drive me home and stay with me for 24 hours

I go to check in and learn that the dr has broken her foot two days ago and when all apts were canceled, they forgot to call me. Argh!!

Now I will have to go through that mental psych up again!!

gotta go for now, but will talk more later.

Oh, yah, White bunnies to you too!

We did go camping at Swift Resevor (sp?). We only stayed for one night and it was such a new experience for me. There was a large group of people there. I don't know their nationality, but I know they are immigrants to America. They insisted on carrying their rubber boats, riding their bikes through our camp.

Then when the BF got up to make the morning fire....one of the elders of the group came over and insisted on telling him how to make his fire. When I got up, he wouldn't leave! Seriously. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. We went there to spend time together.....not with these strangers. the only alone time we had at this campsite, was in the car to and from.

so happy to be back in town.

Okay...he's still changing his mind. We were gonna go see whitman mission in Walla Walla Washington...then his friends wanted to come.

I went home and packed and was 90% ready and he changed his mind again. Now, Why can't he figure out the reason I am so upset and frustrated?!

He now has a hole on each side of his head from where I chewed his ears off!

Gonna go take a nap.

Yeah, That didn't work. Now the trip is off all together.

I got a hold of a childhood friend the other day. During the summer of the 84 Olympics she taught me a game called Hand & Foot Conasta. I loved that game!

Over the years we dirfted and I forgot the rules. I met up with her several weeks ago at urgent care and it hit me just last night. "Hey, let's get the rules from her before we loose touch again!" So I did. It takes 4 decks of cards and can be played with 2,4, 6 people. I have the rules. I have the 4 decks of cards....unfortunately the BF doesn't like board or card games. - THAT is what I will have to work on.

wish me luck.

"I am begining to wonder if it is part of the engineering ciriculum in college to erase all communication etiquette"

Etiquette, common sense, curtesy. They've erased pretty much everything but numbers. I work in high-tech in the Vancouver area in an engineering-heavy company. Alot of them, I don't know how they find their way to work in the morning.

Regarding the 5 day project.... I finally have a handle on that! The bedroom and the craft/office are switched and the closets are the only things I have left to deal with as far as the switch goes.

now, it's basically just settling in and putting things away. If this two room "move" got me...think about the mess I would be in if I'd moved the whole house?! What a scary thought.

Ciao for now.

I did make it in on Sunday, but was so exhausted from my chronic fatigue, that I barely made it home before I crashed on the sofa.

When the alarm went off, I fell asleep three times while trying to get ready for work (how sad is that?!) When I dropped the hair dryer on my head...I knew it was time to call in sick. Then I slept 16 hours on Monday.

Tuesday, I felt better, but did miss my nap in the afternoon. LOL!

Pearls of wisdon???? Me????
LOL!!

right now my only wisdom to share is don't start a 5 day project on a 4 day weekend and then spend two days tending to friends who need medical assistance and/or a shoulder to lean on.....then wonder why it's not done on the afternoon of the 4th day.

can I call in sick? - or should I call in POOPED?

It really bugs me when people assume you know what they are talking about over the phone or via e-mail.

One day at work an e-mail was sent out by some top dog engineer who referred to a tool by a partial tool number. the part he gave narrowed the tool down to three in the entire plant. Yes, I recognize that he had been working on it for the entire day, but I hadn't.

Another Top Dog Engineer Type called me and asked me to "Check the tool".......which tool? Again. She'd been dealing with it, but I had been in another world looking through life in a microsope. Wonderfully and blissfully unaware of the crisis in her life. - until that moment.

I am begining to wonder if it is part of the engineering ciriculum in college to erase all communication etiquette such as identifying yourself when someone answers the phone, or giving all information in written communication to allow the recipient the pleasure of KNOWING what in the devil you are referring to.
