I thought this might be of some interest as Hurricane Dean approaches from the East.LinkPlease note the black color (or 250mm) of rain which has fallen in the past 6 hours Northeast of Colon, Panama.This a a sign of the Hurricanes approach as the tops are now nearly stationary on the Eastern flank of this MCS which has persisted and continues expanding Westward along 10 degrees North latitude.We expect to have numerous periods of rain and t-storms for the next 48-72...
