Ice Storm - Feb 12-13th

Lost power at the station early on the 12th. Power was restored for a few hours late in the evening (so appreciate the crews out working on the lines) only to lose power again around 11 PM. Not surprised as precipitation continued much of the night in sub-freezing conditions. Power back on this afternoon around 4 PM along the Tobacco Rd. corridor between Mike Padgett Hwy and Peach Orchard.

Lots of trees down and limbs all over. However, all the ice has melted quickly this afternoon and roads are pretty clear. Driving through south Augusta I noticed that large sections are without power tonight.

Quite a winter storm! Haven't seen it this bad for sometime.
