Fine weather on this M. L. King Holiday

No severe winter weather here, but this is Augusta GA not Augusta, ME. The rising sun is illuminating bright blue skies this morning. A fine day of weather ahead.

Concerning cold weather, I listened to a recent Science Friday podcast about the affect of severe cold on insects. The question brought up is whether or not severe cold will kill off harmful insects. The answer isn't a straightforward "yes" but cold weather does indeed make it tough on insects. Here is the link to the podcast to which I am referring. It is well worth listening to. Cold Snap
