As many of you know already, there's a web search engine called GOODSEARCH - powered by YAHOO! where you get the same quality search results as from Yahoo, but the charity of your choice gets money each time you search the internet through their web-page. One click = one cent!
The same site has expanded to GOODSHOP with a long list of online shops that give a percentage of your shopping to the charity of your choice.

I’ve always liked animals and believe that one of my purposes in life is to help them. The wise ones say that whatever you give away comes back to you hundredfold, raises your serotonin levels and makes you feel good. I want to live happy life, and have personally experienced the wonderful feeling of giving and true bliss when, unexpectedly, have received much more than I gave. This year we decided that our business “has a heart” and started sponsoring ASPCA on a monthly basis. Our sales increased miraculously. Now we’re part of a project to build a school in Goa, India. I’m not writing this to get anybody’s admiration, praise or “angel wings”, just to confirm that the above mentioned wise ones are right. You can never give too much of yourself to become empty, universe is abundant with prosperity, kindness and creativity.
Check the PORTLIGHT DISASTER RELIEF and you’ll see how it works!

You can help animals too, no money needed, just CLICK TO GIVE. I click every day, because I want to help the furry friends of the two dogs we adopted in 2006 from Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Sophie, our Dalmatian mix, was found tied to the APR shelter door, and had been cruelly abused. She was about 5 years old then, and during the next three years she spent in the shelter she got so fat she could no longer scratch her belly. Now she’s slim, playful and her eyes are filled with love and trust.
Max, our Yellow Lab mix was rescued from the ‘death row’ of a high kill facility and placed for adoption in the kennel with Sophie. He was about one year old, scared of everything and so crazy he was nicknamed “Mad Max” as two volunteers were needed to take him for a walk. Today he protects our property with no fear, sits when I snap my fingers, and walks without a leash – but he’s still the Mad Max we fell in love with. Sophie had seen kennel mates come and find new homes, but nobody wanted her. The shelter volunteers told us that as soon as the two met, it was love at first sight. Sophie was older than Max, but, as with humans, some gals are smart LOL
The photo below says it all about the “Happy Tails” of these two wonderful creatures.
DOGS RULE – LOL!
