Michigan Mishaps

Wet and dangerous- those words could describe both a disgruntled lunatic alligator or Michigan's roads. Multiple school districts were closed today due to the icy snowy melting hot-pocket-like mess over here. The tie rod end on my truck is loose, and I had to trade it in for a pimpin' minivan for the next few days. Water, water everywhere! It's even found it's way into my mind. On the way back from downtown yesterday morning we passed an accident, fresh off the grill. The car was crushed like a well-seasoned burger patty and there were no emergency crews in sight. Be careful, children!

Greetings digital world! A beautiful morning greeted West Michigan today, and I returned the favor with all possible glory. A beautiful bluebird day- sunny and crisp- a nice way to end a week of near continual blizzard conditions. So, a refreshing run was in order, and I drove through the deep snow to the middle of the recreation area, and followed my two-tracks to the main road and back. The silence was overwhelming. It has been snowing here for the past five days, driving conditions have been hazardous. Of course, I've been out on the roads this week more than ever. Tonight my friend and I drove on out to Lake Michigan for a frigid walk on this winter's night. The trepidation was palatable.
