Michigan Mishaps

Feverish Autumn Winds

By: LakeEffectBro, 2:29 AM GMT on September 19, 2013

Welp, it's that time of year again, folks. Summer was here and gone like a demon's whisper, and the cold north winds are knocking on our back door. Although, I can't be too melancholy- for winter follows soon after the autumn wind, and brings the fluffy white stuff that inspired my name-sake.

But really, it was a wonderful summer. Swimming in the Great Lakes, laying under summer's rolling cumulus clouds, and witnessing the lazy, muggy air refract off of cars and roofs. That was an incomplete sentence, but I think it is a fitting metaphor for the way I feel about summer. It is never long enough. I could lay forever in the shade and enjoy a cold PBR if the universe would let me.

Oh well, this cold just inspires me to warm up inside, start a pot of coffee, and blog about the weather. So, I'll be seeing y'all again soon! Happy blogging!
