Yes. Someone please turn off the rain machine. The rain the Gulf Coast is getting reminds me of the movies where they have the rain machine that looks like it's generating 3 inches per hour, only those poor folks in Alabama, Florida an Georgia are actually getting that. More rain

Looks like my son is going to have to slog through a lot of rain to move into his new house in Florida this weekend, Milton to be exact. It's been fairly wet there, but not nearly as wet as Panama City. Some are predicting about 5 inches for his area. The whole Panhandle has been very, very wet this year. Just hope he can dodge the showers or they let up long enough for him to at least get the furniture in.

Quiet in the Gulf

Well everything is quiet in the Gulf . . .so far. Don't know much about tropical weather, but I'm learning. Of the 40 or so storms whose names have been retired, I have experienced 13. If you count my extended family members, the number goes up to 18. Louisiana just seems to have had a bullseye on it over the past 5-8 years. Florida hasn't fared much better.
