We have entered the month of September and with the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games now less then a month away going to start posting my forecasts.

We are currently experiencing severe flooding in Central Kentucky and have recorded nearly 8 inches of rain since it started Saturday morning. Many lives are still at risk so our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone.

The forecast for tomorrow(Saturday) looks stormy for the Cross Country phase of the event. Our original forecast was a day faster, so we expected the heaviest weather to be Friday night, now the heaviest looks to be late in the day Saturday but there is a pretty good chance that at least half of the competition(9:30 AM - 3:30 PM) will see rain. The real concern comes as to when the T-Storms arrive because even the threat of lighting will stop the Cross Country. F...

The Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event is only a week away so we are updating our forecast based on current trends for April 22 - 25. We still think we maybe over doing the possibilities of rain considering the dry pattern we are in so I wouldn't by any means think that the Cross Country day is going to be a wash.
