Outside my Window

I have lived 'all over' the US in my life (have had a long one already) and have always been interested in the weather outside of my window.
After years living in central Florida and enduring the summer heat/humidity and its accompanying hurricane seasons for so many years, my move to Duluth, MN was a ....er, major change (especially that first winter).
Now, after those first 3 winters, I am getting into the icy swing of things.

But I still thrill over the sight of falling snow and grin as I tug on heavy, cobbled shoes and creep gingerly over the slippery spots. I still haven't figured out how to wear scarf and sometimes forget to zip my jacket until frigid air creeps in.
My education in seasonal changes continues and - is it my imagination? or is it really seeming Florida-like in these last few Duluth summers!
Weather, with us every day and changing hourly, is a fascinating fact of life...love it or hate it, it is definitely a fact of our personal life.
