I guess our normal rain has moved to the eastern part of the US? It's been dry ever since the superstorm wound up in the Atlantic!

If it isn't one thing, it's another. Seems like all plans are being dashed to pieces no matter where we are or what we're doing. I'm totally perplexed at what is happening in our nation. I am almost to the point where I envy the dead!

Quoting BLKinIDAHO:
We've had rain on and off all day. At least the temps are up in the upper 50's.
Got bad news at the Dr's office yesterday. My oldest boy who broke both of his legs last july in a boating accident. His growth plate in the left ankle is closing and he will require at least 2 more surgeries. The bone in the right leg is not regenerating as fast as we would like to see due to the extensive trauma.(the leg was broken in 8 places) He has another appt. in 8 weeks to see if he needs to go in for bone grafts on the right leg wich will require additional surgery. We decided to put off our trip to the Big Island in March until our son is better and can go with us and actually enjoy himself. I think he has earned it. Will keep you updated.
