Not much in the way of changes

Things have been the same for over a week now. Light showers here and there yielding an average of no more than a quarter inch per 24 hours and normal temps in the range of 82 high and 70 low at sea level as reported in Hilo.

No hits on our house. The real estate market is still slow and I don't expect it to pick up until next year. Time to settle in for the winter. Had a little snow a couple of days ago. Took advantage of the change in weather and went deer hunting. My wife and I both got nice 3 points and put some meat in the freezer. Leaving this afternoon for the high country and will try to fill our last elk tag. This hunting season has been very fruitful for us. The sky is cloudy and it is 33 degrees out. Am expecting snow in our hunting grounds and more than likely cold rain here at home. Hope all is well for you, your family and your cats! Hope to be in your neck of the woods this March. All will depend on my son's legs and if he needs any more surgeory. Will hopefully find out on Wed. I will contact you if things work out for our plans. Have a great day, week, year. I feel that the general economy is in far worse shape than we are led to believe. I'm not optimistic at all. In fact I've become a total pessimist now. Quoting BLKinIDAHO: No hits on our house. I agree with you 100%. I still believe things are going to get worse before they get better. Just got back from elk hunting. Left 1 day early due to weather. Arrived to see 8" of snow on the ground and 25 degrees. Saw lots of fresh tracks, no elk. Slept in a tent, got down to single digits last night. THANK GOD for GOOD sleeping bags as we did not get cold. Hunted this morning and didn't see any elk. Started snowing something fierce and visibility dropped to non huntable conditions. It is good that you are able to hunt as, along with the economic debacle that faces us, food availability is going to soon become a very major issue to say nothing of the cost which will skyrocket as more money is printed to shore up the faltering economic system. At least you and I are not on the East Coast which is, at this writing, about to receive an unprecedented disaster from 3 storms that are going to wreak havoc in the lives of millions. It may even cause the election to be postponed if there are large scale, and extended power outages which all of the forecasters here at weather underground are expecting.
