Total for the past 24 hours was 7/10ths of an inch. About twice that of normal for this time of year.

Temperatures are within a degree or two of normal.

With hot and dry weather the varnish should dry quickly. Am I correct?

Oh,lucky you! We're moving into an extended period of high temperatures and no rain. Old-timers call it "August". ;)

Lucky me has a trawler that needs varnishing, and it lives in a shed with a very, very high roof. I'm almost not going to mind the heat! Do the outside work early and late and huddle in the shadows the rest of the time!
