I was busy on Monday and yesterday morning watering the gardens and lawn. We have a wedding here on the grounds later this month and want it to look nice. Then mid afternoon a broad area of showers with thunder and lightning moved into the area and we got close to three quarters of an inch of rain. Some of it came down very heavy, so the electronic rain gauge got behind but there was a rate of over 2.4 inches per hour. There was another small shower around 3:00 AM today.
