No rain over next couple of days

By: JohnnyParker , 11:10 AM GMT on May 24, 2013

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 60 and it feels like 60. Highs will continue to range between 78 and 92 with lows between 49 and 70. There is a slight chance of rain on Monday. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 60 and it feels like 60. Todays high is 77 with a low of 51. Saturdays high is 81.

Now, for your severe weather update for the Southeast Region. Could see severe weather potential around May 31st-June 1st, and around the 7th-8th.

Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, all is quiet with no development expected over the next couple of days. In the Eastern Pacific, an area of disturbed weather located about 550 miles South-Southwest of Acapulco, Mexico is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Some gradual development is possible over the next few days while the disturbance moves Westward at about 10mph. The National Hurricane Center is giving this system a medium chance, 30%, of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Hope yall are having a great Friday and I'll have another post tomorrow morning.
