Rain today into Thursday, severe weather threat next week?

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 48 and it feels like 45. There is a 30% chance of a few showers today and an 80% chance of rain/thunder tomorrow. Heavy rain of 1-2 inches with locally 2+ inches are expected. Flash flooding will be possible. Highs will continue to range between 56 and 79 with lows between 40 and 61. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 45 and it feels like 39. Todays high is 54 and a low of 46 with a 30% chance of a few showers. Thursdays high is 53 with an 80% chance of rain/thunder.

Now, for your Severe Weather Update for the Southeast Region. There could be severe weather potential around April 8th-12th, around April 14th-15th, and around April 17th-18th.
