Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 36 and it feels like 36. Highs will continue to range between 56 and 66 with lows between 34 and 49. There is a 100% chance of rain/thunder today. Some storms could be strong to severe with large hail, damaging winds, tornadoes, heavy rain of 1-3 inches with locally 3+ inches, and flash flooding. Dr. Greg Forbes, the severe weather expert at The Weather Channel, is giving North MS a 3 out of 10, Central MS a 4 out of 10, and South MS a 3-4 on the TOR:CON (Tornado Condition Index). This means that there is a 30-40% chance of seeing a tornado within a 50 mile radius. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 37 and it feels like 30. Todays high is 52 and a low of 47 with a 100% chance of PM thunderstorms. Fridays high is 65 with a slight chance of rain.

Now, for your Winter/Severe Weather Update for the Southeast Region. There could be winter weather potential around March 5th-7th. There could be severe weather potential possibly around the 25th.

Hope yall are having a great Thursday and I'll have another post tomorrow morning.
