Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 28 and it feels like 28. Highs will continue to range between 47 and 66 with lows between 33 and 48. There is a 100% chance of thundershowers tomorrow. Some storms could be strong to severe with large hail, damaging winds, large hail, tornadoes, heavy rain of 1-3 inches with locally 3+ inches, and flash flooding. Dr. Greg Forbes, the severe weather expert at The Weather Channel, is giving MS a 3 out of 10 on the TOR:CON (Tornado Condition Index). This means that there is a 30% chance of seeing a tornado within a 50 mile radius. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 31 and it feels like 25. Todays high is 44 with a low of 34. Thursdays high is 53 with a 100% chance of thunderstorms.

Now, for your Winter/Severe Weather Update for the Southeast Region. There could be winter weather potential around February 28th, and around March 2nd-7th. There could be severe weather potential possibly around the 25th, around February 27th-28th.

Hope yall are having a great Wednesday and I'll have another post tomorrow morning.
