Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 28 and it feels like 28. Highs will continue to range between 45 and 63 with lows between 28 and 51. There is a 90% chance of thunderstorms/wind tomorrow. Heavy rainfall of 1-3 inches are expected with locally 3+ inches possible and flash flooding. In addition, some storms could be strong to severe with large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes being the threats. Dr. Greg Forbes, the severe weather expert at The Weather Channel, is giving a TOR:CON (Tornado Condition Index) of a 4 out of the 10 for East MS and a 5 out of 10 for West MS for Sunday. This means that there is a 40%-50% chance of seeing a tornado within a 50 mile radius. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 29 and it feels like 23. Todays high is 59 with a low of 46. Sundays high is 61 with a 100% chance of thunderstorms/wind.

Now, for your Winter/Severe Weather Update for the Southeast Region. There could be winter weather potential around the 15th-16th. There could be severe weather potential possibly around February 10th-13th, around the 19th, and then again around the 24th.

Hope yall are having a great Saturday and I'll have another post tomorrow.
